Ruby Trance Volume 17
Welcome to our latest presentation of Uplifting and Vocal Trance. As we have said many times, the music of the previous year substantially defines how our new album pans out. This year CD1 is much bigger than normal, because there was so much great music of that style. The tracks continue to get shorter (we have some “Extended Mixes” which are less than 5 minutes long). We also have more than 20 vocal tracks on this year’ album.
CD1 opens with a powerful male vocal in ReOrder’s All Comes Back To You. Betsy Larkin will have you singing with The Key. This is followed by two extremely catchy instrumentals Frontiers and For The Moment. Next up is Sue McLaren singing The Perfect Storm which commences building the energy through a sequence of tracks to the peak of the CD, Craig Connelly’s The Universal.
CD2 starts with Christina Novelli’s Carry You. Soooo catchy, and with a great build. Serengeti has an amazing tribal rhythm supported by chanting. Very dancey. We love the vocals of Foux in Surrender. It has big room sounds coming from those amazing synths. Darude (of Sandstorm fame) is one of the writers, and it shows. Broken Child is the peak track of the album. We welcome back Ronski Speed with his All The Way. The closing track is Craig Connelly’s This Life featuring the luscious voice of Roxanne Emery. A perfect way to close the album.
As always, our thanks go out to the many volunteers who help create the magic that surrounds what we do. This includes (in no particular order) Damon, Joal & Geoff, Ben, Jake, Emille & Shane, Neil & Phil, Alex, Matt, Shane & Jacob, Kurt, Moleshall, Steve O, and Ben & Nico. And the perennial thanks to the ever patient Zac.
This album is being released in 2019, and celebrates the 20th year of Ruby’s involvement in the Trance music scene.
We are very proud to present Ruby Trance Volume Seventeen
